On Thursday, October 19, Fordland Clinic conducted a disaster training on the clinic grounds.  The Centers for Medicaid and Medicare require that Community Health Centers conduct regular disaster and emergency training.  Our scenario was a motor vehicle rollover accident with 13 victims, some of whom were ejected.  Fordland Police and Southwest Fire Protection District assisted with the training.

This was an excellent training, with staff becoming aware of the roles they might be asked to assume during a multi-victim accident or disaster.
