Sherry Denney, a medical professional with 15 years of experience, has recently taken on the role of Community Outreach and Enrollment Specialist at the Fordland Clinic.
Throughout her career in health care, she has strived to connect clients with valuable resources that they may not have known were available to them. According to Sherry, the goal of providing the best help to clients is a shared mission for all Fordland Clinic caregivers.
“I love working alongside this team of providers and support staff,” she says. “We share a common vision to do our part in providing quality healthcare, show compassion and genuinely want to make a positive difference in the everyday life of our patients.”
Sherry not only works with Fordland Clinic patients, but as a licensed Navigator of a Federally Qualified Health Center, she is here to help the uninsured and underinsured people in and around the Fordland area that may need assistance in finding affordable health insurance. Going out into the communities that we serve, raising awareness of the services the Fordland team offers is helping people find, understand, and enroll in insurance coverage that best addresses their care needs.
Originally hailing from Springfield, she worked at both Cox Health and Mercy before joining the Fordland Clinic team in July of 2023. She moved to Seymour after meeting and marrying her husband, Warren. They have three grown sons, two spoiled dogs and two cats. In their free time, they enjoy watching football, cooking, engaging in small home projects, and during warmer months, spending time outdoors in the Ozarks.
